I have more than 15 years of experience in health communications, with a particular focus on screening. Prior to Life Line Screening, I worked as the Assistant Director at the national non-profit organization, Screening for Mental Health. I have a Masters degree in Communication Studies from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland in Radio, Television and Film.
As the Communications Director for Life Line Screening, one of my areas of interest is in explaining the screenings we offer, the vascular issues we address and the importance of preventive medicine in a way that makes sense to everyday people. I am not a doctor, so if I can’t understand something, I know other non-medical types can’t either. But if I can learn it, so you can you.
