Life Line Screening on Good Morning America with Dr. Oz

Joelle Reizes - November 9, 2010

We have returned from the Dr. Oz Health Expo in Chicago that occurred over this past weekend. It was a true success.

In addition to the event, Dr. Oz and Life Line Screening were featured on Good Morning America on Saturday morning.

In the news segment, Dr. Oz talked about how important it is for anyone 20 and over to know 5 important health numbers, which consists of their:

1. Blood pressure
2. Waist size
3. Weight
4. Cholesterol
5. Fasting blood sugar

He explained the reason is that these five numbers “drive most of their wellness.” And, once you know these numbers, you can “control your health destiny.”

Unfortunately, it remains a fact that many Americans are underserved and do not know these lifesaving numbers, which is why Life Line Screening health screenings, the Dr. Oz Health Expo, and the demand for such events continues to exist.

Dr. Oz also talked about the dangers of being hypertensive, as he did a blood pressure reading on a volunteer from his show. And, speaking of volunteers, Life Line Screening’s very own and very brave Susan Stevie, Executive Vice President U.S. Sales & Operations also participated as a volunteer.

Watch this segment now.

Mr. Hazard: I enjoyed speaking with you on the phone and answering your questions. I was pleased to help arrange a new screening for you and glad you had a positive experience the second time around. Thanks for giving us a second chance.

Patrick: Sharecare.com is a great place to find information on a lot of different topics, including prostate health. Of course, if you are having any problems or concerns, your best options is to talk to your physician.
