I hope you had a chance to watch the Dr. Oz Health Expo: Update on The Dr. Oz Show this morning.
I certainly did, and watching it really reminds me of how proud we, at Life Line Screening, are of our work and our business. After all, we get to help change lives every day by providing affordable access to potential life-saving health screening services for people no matter what their insurance status.
Also, we get to work with people like Dr. Oz in a team effort to inspire people to start paying better attention to their health whether or not the results of these preventive health screenings were favorable.
Just as we experience at our community-based events, the Dr. Oz Health Expo gave many people a clean bill of health, while others needed to hear about the potential risks that could cause life-threatening disease as well as encouragement to begin making changes.
As I watched, I was returned to the enthusiasm of that day in Chicago’s Millennium Park, echoed in my sentiment of, “You know…we’ve got friends bringing in friends, we’ve got wives bringing in husbands, we’ve got sisters. Everyone’s coming in as families. It’s really exciting today.” And it really was truly great to see the amount of caring and sharing.
If you missed the Dr. Oz Health Expo: Update, see Dr. Oz and Life Line Screening in action by watching a video of it now.
Have a safe and healthy Thanksgiving holiday and, in the words of Dr. Oz, “give thanks for the great gift of our health and take charge of it every day of our lives.”
