From the small things to the big things, life requires a certain “mental toughness” from all of us. Staying strong through all of the small things can give you the strength you need to get through the big things.

This idea is especially true when it comes to healthy lifestyles. Choosing to eat fresh fruit over a pastry might seem like a small challenge, but conquering it can make you stronger in more ways than one. Exercise is the same. Finding time to incorporate just thirty minutes of exercise into your schedule each day can seem impossible, but if you do it, you will be stronger.

Willpower is a combination of intention, effort and courage. Using all three can push you above all of the small challenges in life and excel you forward – allowing you to grow from the small experiences and make you better off each day.
